Accessibility statement.

What I'm aiming for

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How the website is designed

• Text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a font designed to be easy to read for people with low vision.
• Text and background colours have been checked for strong contrast.
• You can use every page with a keyboard, with a clear focus outline and a “skip to main content” link.
• Pages work with screen readers: images have text descriptions, headings are in order and form fields have labels.
• Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily.
• Pages adapt to your screen size, and you can zoom in without losing content.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, scrolling animations are switched off.
• The enquiry form asks how you'd like to be contacted and about any access needs.

Known limitations

• Some news stories link to other websites, which may not be accessible.
• Captions, transcripts and BSL are being added to video content as it's published.
• The website has been checked by its developer but hasn't yet been independently audited.

Other formats and communication support

If you need information in another format, such as large print, plain English or BSL, just ask. BSL interpreters can be arranged for meetings where required.

This statement was prepared on 1 November 2026, based on a review of the website by its developer. It's reviewed at least once a year and whenever the website changes significantly.
